PayPal subscriptions
If you purchased a product with a monthly or annual fee, unsubscribing from an email will NOT stop the payment. If you purchased your product or membership via Paypal, you can cancel directly on their site.
Stripe subscriptions
If you subscribed via Stripe, you can login to your Customer Area and click on Payment History:
Then Click on the Cancel Subscription link:
(You can also update your credit card in the same place.)
